GE Mastr II High-Band mobile converted to High-Band or 2 Meter repeater.

Items supplied with basic repeater:

Complete radio (We supply) 40, 75, or 110 watt models available. (**See below for repeater power rating)
40 watt units will run continuous duty at rated power with fans on PA heat sink.
75 and 110 watt models will run about 50 watts in continuous duty with fans on PA heat sink.
Receiver and Exciter converted and tuned.
Crystaled (1 - 5C and 1 - EC ICOM) on your frequency.
Duplex modifications done.
Separate receiver antenna port. (Professionally installed in place of lock on front panel)
NHRC internal Vol/Sq pots supplied and installed.
Heavy DC Power Cord supplied (4 foot length)

Items not supplied with basic repeater but are available as options:

PLL exciter models with true FM Modulator available for additional charge. The PLL GE Mastr II *does* require a crystal as the exciter is Phase Locked to the crystal, however it is not synthesized. (Great for flat audio throughput.)
Micor squelch board. (Add a Micor noise squelch to the Mastr II.)
PL, Channel Guard aka CTCSS available extra. (Can be configured for encode, decode or both.)
Control Head Connector and Cable available extra. (May not be necessary anyway depending on controller used.)
Preamp. (Many models available extra.)
Controller. (Many models available extra.)

Description:
This is a conversion of a mobile radio to repeater. The lock is removed and the receiver RF connection takes the place of it.
A length of heavy duty #10 siamese wire (red/black) is supplied for the power cord. A variety of interface options (DB-9, plain old wire tail, barrier terminal block) are available for connecting an outboard controller. This repeater can also be build to include a NHRC internal controller. The addition of a NHRC-X/M2 controller makes a really nice package as everything is built internally and the repeater basically becomes 'plug-n'play'. No duplexer is supplied.

The repeater will require a 35 amp Linear Power supply or equivalent just to run the repeater. If an add on RF Power Amp is going to be used, please allow for the additional current consumption accordingly. Astron's are good because of their over-voltage protection. We don't recommend switching supplies on repeaters.

If CTCSS is desired, an optional Com Spec TS-64DS is available to be installed and set up to filter the tone on repeat audio and encode on the repeater transmitter, add $75.00 A TS-32 option is available for those who don't need Reverse Burst, add $50.00

We have had excellent results with the Ramsey preamp kits. These will add an additional 5 to 6 dB of usable sensitivity. These can be mounted inside the radio set. This option is available built, installed, and tuned, add $45.00

We also convert user supplied radios.
You can deduct $50 from the stated price of the repeater as referenced above if you ship your working radio (with ICOM's) to us for conversion.
