Subject Mitrek low band mods

I am modifying several Mitrek low-band, high-split radios for 6m
service. After reading the two articles on this conversion, by KD3IJ
and N1BEC, I decided to incorporate ideas from both authors.

However, even though I had an original manual with the board layout in
color, I found the solder-side view to be confusing. So, I scanned the
images into Paint Shop Pro and flipped them to get a component-side
view. Then, I used drawing tools to outline the aluminum shield cans in
blue so that I could see where each capacitor was located. Finally, I
outlined each capacitor to be changed in red if both authors suggested
changing its value and in green if only one author changed its value.
Note that only one capacitor, C166, is located inside of a shield can.
Perhaps these pictorial views will be helpful to others doing the same
mod.

The component layout was verified in a Mitrek model T51JJA4900DK radio
in a HUB1062CPR chassis.
