RPTDOC3 02/18/97 REPEATER CONTROLLER FUNCTION DESCRIPTION F1 Lock Code Restricts user access to predetermined levels. Locks controller unless User Functions Allowed. If the controller is LOCKED and user functions are allowed then only user functions may be executed. If user functions are not allowed then only LOCK,UNLOCK,DOUBLE LOCK and DOUBLE UNLOCKED may be executed. F2 Unlock Code Allows access to all levels of functions if the controller is not DOUBLE LOCKED. F3 Reset Normal Mode Resets controller to power on state except the "P" is not sent indicating POR. F4 Force Reset Causes controller to power on/reset (POR). F5 Repeater On Enables repeater function. F6 Repeater Off Disables repeater function. F7 PL Mode On Repeater requires the PL input be pulled to a logic ground level to keyup repeater. F8 PL Mode Off Repeater requires the COR input be pulled to a logic ground level to keyup repeater. F9 Chopper On Turns on three minute windbag timer. F10 Chopper Off Turns off three minute windbag timer. F11 Force Ident0 Sends Morse Code ID selection zero. F12 Force Ident1 Sends Morse Code ID selection one. F13 Auto RPTR Off Allows repeater to function itself off if no PL received for a thirty second interval. F14 Reset Auto RPTR Off Turns off auto repeater off function. F15 Remote ON Turns on T1 transistor. Used to enable remote receiver. Also turns on repeater function and disables timers. F16 Remote OFF Turns off T1 and T2 transistors and enables timers. F17 Remote Tx Enable Enable turn on of T2 transistor Used to key remote transmitter. Follows PL/COR Inputs. F18 Remote Tx Disable Turns off T2 transistor. F19 Kerchunk Filter On Delays key-up of the repeater if in COR mode. Delays keyup by .155 seconds default. F20 Kerchunk Filter Off Removes key-up delay. F21 Drop Delay On Delays transmitter drop-off by one second when timer is reset by TX drop. If F30 is on then this function is not used. F22 Drop Delay Off Removes transmitter drop delay when timer reset on TX drop. If F30 is on this function is not used. F23 POR Failure Bit Reset Resets power failure indicator. The power failure indicator is a morse "P" sent before the transmitter is un-keyed to indicate that the controller has just been powered up. F24 Send EPROM Date Sends the date of the EPROM in Morse Code. F25 One Hertz Adj. Used this function to adjust the 1 hertz pot. Procedure is in RPTDOC5.TXT. F26 Mute On Allows transmitter drop off during touch-tone decode. Prefix digit decoded drops TX. Stays off as long as touch-tones are received within two second inter-digit time. F27 Mute Off Prevents transmitter drop off during touch-tone decode. F28 User Funct Allowed Allows user level functions. The user functions level is set according to the order the functions are listed in the F_TABLE in the source code listing. F29 User Funct Not Allowed Disables user level functions. F30 Timer RST On COR Drop Windbag timer resets on carrier drop off. F31 Timer RST On TX Drop Windbag timer resets on transmitter drop off. Drop delay may be disabled in this mode and the delay time may be adjusted. F32 Response On Enables response on function complete. (Double beep) F33 Response Off Disables response on function complete. F34 Auto-Restore PL ON IF PL mode is turned off and no COR is sensed for 30 seconds this function will turn PL mode on. F35 Auto-Restore PL OFF Resets Auto-Restore PL mode. F36 Remote Watch-Dog ON This function monitors the remote keying and remote receive enable port bits. If the output port bits are on and the Remote function is off this function will reset the bits. F37 Remote Watch-Dog OFF Resets remote watch-dog. F38 Remote Telemetry ON Turns on the remote base telemetry. When the COR line goes inactive and the remote base function is functions are on there is a low tone generated if the receive enable line is active and a low tone then high tone generated if the remote tx is enabled. F39 Remote Telemetry OFF Resets Remote Base Telemetry. F40 NO PL REQRD FOR DECODE. IF THIS FUNCTION IS ON IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE THE PL INPUT PULLED LOW IN ORDER TO EXECUTE FUNCTIONS. F41 PL REQUIRED FOR DECODE. IF THIS FUNCTION IS ON IT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE THE PL INPUT PULLED LOW TO ALLOW THE EXECUTION OF FUNCTIONS. F42 COR Reset BEEP On Sends BEEP on timer reset.(USED WITH F30) F43 COR Reset BEEP Off No BEEP on timer reset. F44 Set Auto Lock-Up Locks controller if PL is not detected for greater than a 30 second period. F45 Reset Auto Lock-Up Does not automatically lock controller with no PL. F46 Set Double Lock Double locks repeater controller. Only those functions listed from "PRIM" down in the F_TABLE are available for decoding when the controller is DOUBLE LOCKED. F47 Reset Double Lock Sets repeater controller to normal lock level. Normal level is either Unlocked, or User Functions Allowed. F48 Auto Ident. ON Enables Identifier. Normally ON. F49 Auto Ident. OFF Disable identifier if controller is used as a link controller and identifier is not wanted. F50 Set Fail Safe On Enables fail safe timer. (240 seconds and not going through the C_LOOP.) If microprocessor should for some reason not restore the counter for 240 seconds then the controller will clear all outputs and go into a wait state. F51 Reset Fail Safe On Disables fail safe timer. F52 All Timers On Enables all timers. F53 All Timers Off Disables all timers. F54 SET SERIAL TEST. SENDS DATA OUT SERIAL PORTS (REQUIRES F236 ON) TO AUDIO MIXER. FOR DIAGNOSTIC USE. F55 RESET SERIAL TEST. STOP SENDING SERIAL DATA. F56 INCR Min10 Counter Increments indentifier timer. Normally ID's every 9 min. 50 seconds. This function changes the default value until next POR. F57 DECR Min10 Counter Decrements indentifier timer. F58 INCR Chop Timer Increments windbag (three minute) timer by 30 sec. F59 DECR Chop Timer Decrements windbag timer by 30 seconds. F60 INCR Kerchunk Filter Increments key-up delay value by .075 of a second. Initializes to .155 of a second. F61 DECR Kerchunk Filter Decrements key-up delay value by .075 of a second. F62 INCR Drop Delay CNTR Increments transmitter hold time value by .167 sec. F63 DECR Drop Delay CNTR Decrements transmitter hold time value by .167 sec.
